Hardware: EMC,IBM,HP,Brocade,silkworm,Hitachi,Storagetek.
Management software: EMC (connectrix),IBM(tivoli),HP,CA,veritas,Storagetek..... and many many more in the future.

The SAN is more suitable for huge enterprise environment to deal with fast storage demanding and reallocation. Copared to traditional DAS(direct attached storage), it has lots advantages and will be adopted by large companies first in the future for sure.
