i am using debian 3 (woody), kernel 2.4, gnome 1.4

i could see chinese charactor in mozilla (so i could come to rolia), but i can't input. i tried my best to install and run xcinterm and fcitx. all i could get is, i could now enter chinese charactor in rxvt or xcinterm, but none of the two input method allows me to enter chinese in browser or any where else.

i tried to change my locale to chinese. after that, my terminal doesn't work well. basically, the chinese words are TOO big, and then mess everything up.

one strange thing is, i could see chinese world in gaim (msn), but the display are not correct, some words are missed.

i dont' know what i should do, or what i could do now. please help.
