本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛My father has been diagnosed with renal failure a year ago by accident of checking his renal function. He has no history of high blood pressure and diabetes, but just having kidney stone that was treated a long time ago. I have no a clue that what cause his renal failure. His recent serum creatinnie is 489umol/l and he is expericing all kinds of symptoms resulting from RF, such as voiding a lot at night, anemia (around 8-9), high blood pressure (140-150), bone pain. Currently my father is under conservative management, which means he is on restrict diet control. He is taking ACE-inbitor for blood pressure control and is recieving Epo injection every 10 days. I was just recently told my father' s medical problem. I am deeply sad for that and I cry everyday because I just can not accept the fact that my father has reanl failure, which I know what serious consequences will be caused. I really want to know if there is anything that can be done to preserve his renal function as much as possible to delay deteriorating of his condition. As far as dialysis (both peritoneal and hemodialysis), when will be the time to initiate. How long can a person with reanl failure live with that? (I know it is all depending on an individual's overall condition. I may just need some hope here). I am even thinking about a kidney transplant. Is there a well-developed technique around a transplant in China. Sorry for typing in English since I don't have a chinese operating system. I appreciate your time and advice. Thank you.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
