其实我现在也是收不到邮件，请成功过的大侠指教指教？

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛本来以为是MX设置的问题，试着设置了MX还是不成功？
在AIX上建了一个用户mt1，发现：
1、AIX内用户root给mt1发邮件可以收到。
2、用foxmail在winxp下，以efglobe.com为smtp服务器，mt1@efglobe.com发给mt1@efglobe.com的邮件可以收到
3、网上在线用hotmail.com账户给mt1@efglobe.com发邮件收不到。

请教：问题出在哪里？极其怀疑是qmail设置问题？

有可能是sympatico防火墙问题吗？telnet efglobe.com 25是通的，否则也不可能用smtp

用nslookup检测结果如下

outgoing的25口被block，打电话问tech support，说已经去年开始实施这个，分区进行。incoming的25口没有block，所以我的email server还能收到邮件。要email server能发出邮件，只能使用smart host，通过rogers的smtp server发了。

小弟要做的是Email '服务器'，
就是想自己搭一个类似于hotmail或者gmail之类的冬冬。能支持smtp,pop3和webmail。
试过了sendmail和qmail，都是在发出后查netstat显示SYN_SENT，很像是被ISP屏蔽了。试过修改smtp端口不为25仍然不行。。。
曾经想找个网上免费的smtp Relay，估计没有？
小弟在tcp方面是菜鸟。。。不明白的东西很多。还请这方面的大侠多多指教

目前用的是qmail built for AIX，本鸡内不同用户互相发是可以的，在外边也可以用pop3收 --- 说明qmail在工作。但在站内就是发不出信到外面的站。

比如发送到hotmail，结果是

looks like you didn't get the correct hotmail address. should be mc4.bay6.hotmail.com.smtp, not mc4.bay6.hotmail.smtp ? -holdon(again); 2005-9-22 {141} (#2515299@0)
you could try telnet mc4.bay6.hotmail.com 25 from your mail server. if you could connect, that means sympatico doesn't block outgoing smtp.

for outgoing emails, simpatico needs to set up smart relay to use their email server, for rogers, you need to set up authentication too. For incoming, -packet(hello); 2005-9-22 {73} (#2514709@0)

it is almost impossible since both block port 25 for incoming connections

port 25 is blocked from/to(incoming/outgoing) sympatico domain. for outgoing 25 traffic(email client), you can use smtp1.sympatico.com or smtp8.sympatico.com instead. -647i(-); 2005-9-22 (#2514740@0)

1. I still think 25 port may not blocked.
2. Download a free version/trial version Email Server Software (Windows Version) and Install it in a different server in your network
3. Try to send email between each other.(If your DNS not configured using IP address instead. xxxx@192.168.1.x)
4. If the problem still, it maybe the server config problem

这个冬冬不错,市和小弟这种初级玩家.
现在问题很明显了,sympatico屏蔽了我这里的25端口,外面telnet我这边25端口不通....难怪我设置为open relay都没人来稿...估计还有一计就是看看能不能找到另外一个能用的MX server连接到我这里来了...没有的话只能打完收工了.

小弟基本上是想做一个邮件服务器（不是客户端），能收发信，创建邮箱用户等等。。。
Qmail在AIX下编译首先遇到一些问题，编译安装完之后发现它的SMTP relay不支持用户／密码验证。。我用的是sympatico的smtp，要求用户和密码的。所以找补丁装上去重新编译，最终搞定。

I just tested nslookup, you are right, your MX record is correct (if you put the mail system on the same server as your web server). However I couldn't telnet into port 25, meaning it is blocked somewhere - I can't say it for sure, because I am back in china right now - it could be blocked somewhere either in china or by bell. see the result below

you can test telnet from your friends home or your office. most likely it is blocked by bell - few ISP will allow port 25 to get thru.

狗一样的sympatico疯了25断口，只能借助于代理商的服务了。。。不过收邮件倒是挺快的，而且无限大，可以设无限多用户，呵呵
