your daughter has atopic dermititis, topical steroid is still the main drug treatment. The key is to use minimal amount that bring symptom under control. Overuse of topical steroid, especially the potent ones can cause thinning of skin or adrenal suppression. In the last few years, there is a new type of topical cream, such as Protopic, on the Canadian market. They are immune modulator, so do not cause skin thinning or adrenal suppression. But they are ususlly very expensive and may increase the chance of chicken pox flare up.

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛来到加拿大已经半年了，从到加拿大开始，我女儿（2岁半）就起了湿疹。开始只是胳膊弯和腿弯处有一片红色的小疹，因为当时是夏天，天热，我误认为是痱子，也没有太当回事，后来小肘弯处也有了一点，一直是这三个部位没有发展到别处。天气渐渐冷了但是“痱子”还一直不好，我带她去看了家庭医生，医生说：是湿疹，估计是桔汁等酸性物质引起的过敏，很多孩子有这个毛病，尤其是刚来加拿大的，断不了根，很容易复发。给我开了一点外用的药。涂药后明显好转，小疹很快都消下去了，因为觉得这些涂抹的药剂多多少少都含有激素类物质，宝宝这样小，怕有不良影响，小疹消下去后，我就停止了用药。但是……呜呜……停药几天后，情况越来越严重，后来发展到整个腿部、臀部、小肚皮和胳膊上到处都有，甚至连脖子上和小脸蛋上也有了。宝宝痒的睡不好觉，使劲的抓挠，一下一下的就象抓在我的心上，我也整夜难眠，替她抚摸以减轻痒感。原来水嫩嫩的小姑娘，现在身上的皮肤粗粗麻麻的。我已经前后去看了3次医生，答复：儿童湿疹没有什么办法。我要求转病童医院或皮肤专科，医生答复：没有必要，专科医院的答复和我会是完全一样的。我该怎么办呀？在国内的时候她的皮肤很好，从没有过着个毛病，到了加拿大怎么就这样了，牛奶、果汁过敏都不是，我试过一段时间不接触这些食物，但没有任何改观，我也找不出原因？苦恼呀！！！更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

我儿子在加拿大出生，从生下来就保受湿疹的折磨，现在已经2岁半了，倒是好多了。这里的医生只会给开含有激素的药膏，我也是断断续续给擦了。最近好多了，没有用什么药，每天在洗完澡后，趁湿先擦橄榄油，然后狂擦LOTION和凡士林，在半夜也多擦一两次的凡士林。主要是这里的气候干燥。我想，你女儿如果真的是果汁过敏，只好注意了不要喝了，没有别的办法，试一下，停一段时间，是否好转。
