Thank you for your reply. It brings me new hope on my testing :)) I'm trying to follow the instruction of WebTest User's Guide to use WinRunner to test a web application. But ......

But when I do the Recording on the web application, the created script is not looked like as the WebTest User's Guide descripts. (As the Guide descripts it should have function like web_link_ function, but I always get mouse_click_function when I click on a link, frame, buttons...) And when I run the recorded script it doesn't open the pages and links as I did in recording. I don't know what's wrong. It seems that WinRunner doesn't work well on testing web application. But the WebTest User's Guide sounds so good. Are you use it testing web application?

            • Can you give more information? You are hoping I can guess everything. What browser you are using? As I know, WR suports only IE and Netscape. If you are using Firefox, WR can not work with it. -benbenli(大岭); 2006-4-10 (#2897901@0)
