E.164 support in UCM 7 has been out for quite some time. The benefit of E.164 is apparent : once you have the dial plan fully figured out and configured, you can move it to any exit point of the enterprise and drop it onto the PSTN and it should always work because every number is globally uniquely identified. But as far as I am aware, not that many customers have been using it, mostly due to the lack of other application or telco support.
