However, if the mpeg is really long, then this can make a huge file.

2. Create a link to the mpeg or quicktime movie from within your flash movie, and then it will pop up and play when something happens or someone clicks on a link.

3. Get director and combine the flash movie with the quicktime or mpeg to fit all inside one big multimedia project. Of course, that is a big step, a lot of money, and learning, unless you already have it and know it.

So, those are basically the issues. You may be skeptical, since when you go to import a file, quicktime is an option. Well, here is the direct quote from the flash 5 manual:

"You can import a quicktime movie into flash in order to modify the movie. However, in order to display the movie you must export it into quicktime format. You cannot display a quicktime movie in swf format."
